Who's impressed in Euro 2004

The kids are the most exciting thing. Rooney had been marvelous. I was impressed with Ronaldo in the opening game. The only decent portugese player that day. And the biggest star of the future, Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger. I can't remember the Germans having a real flair player before. I think he will set the tournament alight.

I thought so too, put up a post mentioning him in the 'Euro 2004 Sticky' after he came on as

sub! His style of play is not typical German football. Joaquin, although not a teenager

anymore but still young at 23, is also a fab forward player for Spain. He was a menace in

Japan '02!.... but Rooney is the boy who'll finish the tournament a man! thumbs up!

nod
