My dad was driving me home one night and I started flipping out that there was a spaceship coming down from the sky. It looked like a metallic half-circle, pretty big, and only a couple hundred feet from the ground. The bottom was all lit up.
He drove us over to it, and got a good laugh. It was a water tower. They were making repairs on it in the evening and had a bunch of lights below it as they were welding and stuff. Several times coming back from cleveland I have seen shooting stars, but i doubt they were UFO's.

Twice. Once was a 4-year-old, sitting with my brother in the flat bed of my dad's Ranchero at a drive-in movie. It was a classic "disc" shaped object. glowing yellow-white, with small lights or portholes along the bottom rim. We started hollering "Look! Look! A Flying saucer!" but our parents were to engrossed in the flick to pay us any mind. After hovering for what seemed like 20 minutes (in retrospect I'm sure it was no more than 2 minutes), it shot off at a 45 degree angle and dissapeared.
The second time was when I was about 7. Me and Kimmy (my best friend) were sitting on my front lawn when, for some reason, we turned to look above my house behind us. There, we saw 2 craft: one was shaped like an upsidedown spinning top, a metallic silver color glinting in the daylight, with a strange blueish flame or gas underneath, the other was simply a sphere or orb, orange red. Both were completely silent. In this case, instead of flying off, they simply dissapeared. We both were dazed and confused after the incident and couldn't shake the feeling that we were failing to recall details of a greater event. We didn't report it. Later, when we were both older, we discussed the incident and agreed that it MUST have been real, but couldn't understand why, for both of us, it FELT like a distant, shared dream. My mother and brother experienced another encounter with a craft resembling my first account. It was somewhere in the L.A. area during the early 70's. The light it emitted was so blinding that they had to pull to the side of the freeway to keep from crashing. There, along with several other witnesses who had pulled over as well, they watched this thing hover for a few minutes before it shot straight up into the night sky. Ex-President Carter filed an official report when he and several others experienced a U.F.O. sighting. Ronald Reagan rambled on and on (on more than one occasion) about the possibility of Earth being invaded from space and then there's the incredible video footage of both the Phoenix, Az. sightings in the early-mid 90's and the 1000's who saw and recorded their experience during the infamous Mexico City sightings of 1985(?), when the skies over the city were littered with dozens upon dozens of craft over a 5-day period. The endless archive of footage from THAT event, in particular, is all I need to be convinced...Live 4 Love. "Sin"cerely ~ Syren!

I keep thinking I did once...
I was about 18, and I went out to my highschool football field one weekend just to run laps and practice soccer...I went alone, so I was the only one there...and after awhile I just got tired, and layed down on my back, looking up at the sky. It was late afternoon, so the sky was just getting dark...and as I laid there, I looked up and saw these two small lights traveling side by side in a nice, smooth motion...because they moved at exactly the same speed and stayed exactly the same distance from one another, I just assumed they were the lights on the wings of an airplane or something. I laid there looking at them lazily, not really paying attention beyond watching them move...when all of a sudden the light on the right accellerated and took an instant 90 degree right turn--and almost at the exact same moment, the light on the left did the very same thing, only making a 90 degree lefthand turn...and then they both speed off at amazing speeds...I moved my eyes back and forth trying to follow them....but they just moved way too fast...next thing I knew, they were both gone...and I just thought "What the hell??"..lol
