I actually bought a stack of 45s this weekend, and I've been making my way through them. There's a lot of trash (I picked about 150 of them @ $0.05 ea), but I've come across a few gems:

Two singles by Killing Joke -"Birds of a Feather" and "Chop-Chop"
Colin Newman - "Not To" - lead singer of British punk heroes Wire
Adam Ant - Vive Le Rock
The Jacksons - Shake Your Body (mock me if you wish)
Crass - Rub Me Out - this is unlistenable, but I'm still happy that I found it, if only for historical reasons.
Teena Marie - Lovergirl
Pavement - Rattled by La Rush - One of my least favourite Pavement singles, but still a neat find.
Ian Dury - Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick

And the true find, the diamond in the rough, the item that made my heart skip a beat:

The bonus 45 that came with Songs in the Key of Life, even more special to me because the used vinyl copy I purchased of that album was missing this.

Sometimes life is good.

That was like my second avatar! It was some running gag with Byron (then Wellbeyond) about the chart position of Barry and Prince or something. lol
