Anyway. Does 'SISI' orange drink sound familiar. They served it on the plane as well. And then there were these flat 'caramel' things..almost like cookies. But it was caramel and something else. drool I can't seem to remember. That sh*t was yummy!!!!! nod

I want to come visit again!!! bawl Oh yeah..I also got a job the 1st day I arrived. LOL It was at the Sun Micro Systems factory. I believe that was in Maarn as well. confuse

No. First of all; I do not hate the city OR it's inhabitants.
My reasons are;

a) It's the starting point to a record store chain FROM HELL, called the Free Record Shop. It's headquarters is trying to dominate us with stupid 16 year olds that only know things about mobile phones and that do not know who The White Stripes are. Or The Beatles.

I once asked for the new cd by The Beatles. The girl covered in cheap make up and more interested in her nails and her mobile phone then said, the who?
I said, no; The Beatles. She did not even get the joke. Strange thing is she answered me in English, while we spoke in Dutch.

b) Most of it's architecture is from a time when people just build, without giving thought about how it would look 40 years later on. The Germans bombed the city in 940, before that it looked BEAUTIFUL, really did. Some of the new things being build there are great though.

c) Most times when Prince plays Holland his greedy ass wants to play the venue that holds most people, being Ahoy.
What can I say about it? I do not like it. It's a colorless blob of concrete and the acoustics are not too good if you do not bring the right equipment.
Bowie DID, btw.

d) I have lived in Amsterdam for some time now, but I it was in Rotterdam I got in the middle of a shoot out at Central Station. It was around Xmas and I thought it was fireworks until people fell down bleeding.
I still feel queezy whenever I walk through that hall.

I know most of these reasons are personal. The Rotterdammers I have met are great people. Their accent is sexy somehow, but now as sexy as Hagenees.

Don't get me started about FRS.
I once asked for gospel music and the nitwit behind the counter suggested i should take a look in the pop/rock section under G.
She thought gospel was the name of a band.
