I don't know about that, though, mine hurt like hell. I had mine done together and I actually yelled out loud when they did the second one. I'd have thought it wouldn't have been so bad since the endorphins and whatnot were already flowing from the first one, but the second was waaaaay worse. It hurts just thinking about it. I found the second one to be vastly worse as well. I was all psyched up for the first one and it was intense but generally ok. I had to really grit my teeth through the second one, though, and I'm pretty damn good at handling pain, methinks. And yeah, it was a male piercer who told Matt that. It seems as if everyone thinks the second one hurts worse. And I agree that it's surprising, since the endorphins should have kicked in from the first piercing.
