I read the front page and then the metro section followed by the sports section which I probably read the closest. If there is time I will check out the other sections.

Gosh, which one??

When I read City Pages (our local weekly) I have quite the ritual. I read the letters to the editor first, then check out the "I Saw You" ads (as I'm convinced this is how I will meet my future husband), then my weekly horroscope, then Dan Savage sex column, then I read my favorite columnist's weekly column, then the food critic's piece, then the A List (weekly round-up of the best things to do over the next week in Mpls). From there I check out whatever else interests me.

I have similar rituals for USA Today, Entertainment Weekly and Bust Magazine, which are the main periodicals I purchase/have subscritions to.

I always look for someone who saw me in the City Pages as well. Some people need to be way more specific though.

When I was writing for newspapers I never really read my columns as I had written them. I would just check to see what was cut and if the layout was nice.

Horoscopes, then comics, then entertainment, then the front page (major news stories)
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

seriously...brown hair, blue shirt...in the sawatdee on nicollet mall...bumped into you...call me? lol

whenever i read the star tribune i always start off with the metro/state section...then the variety section (need to read my comics and horoscope)...then i skim through the main section. shitty pages, i usually flip through the shit before the cover story, then i'll read the cover story (if it's worth reading, that is), then the music/arts sections, and then "savage love" and all the "wild side" ads so i can laugh at folks. heh.
