O.J. Talks...10 Years Later
Fri Jun 4, 7:15 PM ET
By Julie Keller

Ten years later, the press finally gets to squeeze the Juice.

Get ready to see plenty of O.J. Simpson in the coming days as he makes the media rounds in connection with the decade anniversary of the murders of his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman on June 12, 1994.

First up for Simpson: interviews on Fox News and NBC.

The one-time football and movie star still maintained his innocence in the slaying during an interview with Fox News Channel's Greta Van Susteren. He also admitted to being angry with his wife and some of her friends and family members and took the opportunity to dish on a would-be reality TV project.

"There are times I am angry at her," Simpson told Van Susteren. "There are things that she could be doing with the kids better than I, you know? When, it's emotional stuff, especially with my daughter, I am angry with her."

Simpson, who was acquitted for the double murder in what was billed as the Trial of the Century but later was on the losing end of a $33 million wrongful-death civil suit brought by the families of the victims, also had some choice words for some of the people involved in the case:

About Nicole's clique of post-divorce pals: "I am angry with her [Nicole]. I am angry that she found herself hanging out with this group of--who are these people?" Simpson said. "I could count on my fingers the times I have seen Faye Resnick and this is a group of nomads, I guess, that Nicole started hanging out with, after we were divorced. And her mother didn't like them."

About Nicole's sister Denise, whom Simpson claims profited from the murder: "I am sure the income is down on the foundation that she works for--which, I would imagine makes her income go down," he said. "I don't think anyone's bills have been paid more than Denise's from what came from the trial."

Simpson also took time during the Fox interview to hype a new reality show he wants to do.

"It's a takeoff on something called Punk'd, an MTV hidden-camera show featuring Ashton Kutcher pranks on celebrities," he explained toVan Susteren. "It's me doing gags as Juice...what they call 'juicing' people."

No word yet on the show will actually take off, but Simpson did call the chances "seven or eight [on a scale of 10], that it's going to happen."

The Juice, who has been living near Miami with his kids since 1997, also threw in his two cents on fellow beleaguered stars Michael Jackson (news) and Kobe Bryant, saying, "As far as I am concerned, they are innocent until proven guilty."

Reps for Fox News say the interview, will air in its entirety during Monday's edition of On the Record with Greta Van Susteren. In the meantime, the network has been airing clips.

Meanwhile, Simpson also huddled with Katie Couric for a special Dateline NBC interview that will air tonight, with segments of the special airing on Monday's edition of Today

Asked by Couric what he's told his kids about their mother's death, Simpson says, "[It's] something we've never really spoke about...Never, ever."

Couric also asks Simpson how he is treated by the public after all these years. "They seem to embrace me," Simpson replies, "[because they feel] I defeated our system in some way, shape or form...Sometimes it's almost at a hero's level."

Read the chapter called Intimate Enemies (domestic violence) , The Gift of Fear book. As Gavin deBecker says "Nicole was in the wrong place for a long time".....

I still believe in my heart of hearts that he did kill her and that he killed the man she was with (witness). I remember the day watching t.v. and seeing him taking off with cops in pursuit. If ya ain't guilty ya ain't gonna take off like that.

Don't believe he did it. There were too many reasonable doubts and too many "basic" things that didn't make sense.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

That's why OJ had the "scheme team" who made Nicole look like she was involved with drug dealers. There was blood found in the home. The LAPD fucked up too.
