Yeah, you may have Dragster etc, but wait until 2007, when Blackpool Pleasure Beach (UK) open their next great record-breaking rollercoaster...

Ohio seems to be a good state for coasters. I'd also recommend visiting King's Island, if for no other reason than to ride the Beast (world's longest coaster--over a mile long through the woods). Flight of Fear, an indoor coaster, is also worth checking out... it uses a catapult system instead of a lift hill to get you going, and it seriously disoriented me, which I enjoyed.
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.

I was very close to going to Cedar Point last year, but unfortunately it didn't work out... but I am sure I will go sometime in the future, looks like fun! smile

At first I thought you were talking about an insane asylum boxed

I heart roller coasters, or anything that scares the hell out of me, for that matter wink

I live near Paramount's Carowinds and this is about the best I can do: The Vortex..complete with rusty rails and everything woot!

If you want to tempt fate, get on Thunder Road...a nice rickety coaster with no loops or anything, but still great fun. biggrin

Main view of the park...Thunder Road in the back-ground.

Yep, my kids are the right age where they will enjoy the kiddie rides...
Never been a fan of the big coasters.
I've riden the Blue Streak, Corkscrew...that's about it...lol

Either that, or Michigan's Adventure...I've heard that's a nice park also.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
