I used to make wedding gowns for my Leia with toilet paper, and then have her marry Luke or Han. It was a big wedding. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

You're a Speak & Spell!! You nerd, you. Just because you were disguised as a toy doesn't mean you weren't educational, you sneaky bastard. Why does this not surprise me? I was one of those AP dorks.

You're Rubik's Cube!! You may think you're popular, but you're actually extremely annoying. Seriously. This is from the 70's They first were manufactured in 79, but they didn't acheive popularity until the early 80s. They sold best in '82 and '83. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Seriously though, did it disturb you as much as it did me that Leia turned out to be Luke's sister? I know I used to make them do things that only siblings from the back-woods of Alabama do!!! (Their marriage eventually fizzled out b/c Barbie complained that her hubby was too mechanical.) [This message was edited Fri Jun 4 9:05:56 2004 by mochalox] "Pedro offers you his protection."

What childhood toy from the 80s are you? brought to you by Quizilla i used to love these things! but isn't this technically a 60s or 70's toy? You are absolutely correct. Spirograph was also from the late 60s/early 70s. Heck "GI Joe with Kung Fu Grip" was from the 60s!!! The line of 12" GI Joe dolls was discontinued in the mid-seventies, and wasn't seen for a good long while. Joe was brought back in the early eighties in his 4" form as "GI Joe: A Real American Hero" (this is the one most children of the 80s remember, with its cartoon tie-in that featured the "Joe Team" fighting the forces of the terrorist group known as COBRA). The "Kung Fu Grip" Joe that is pictured was never manufactured in the late 70s/early 80s as the quiz implies. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!!! (in case your wondering, the other half is mindless violence!!!) Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones.
