Ok so I have had this one bad tooth all my life. When I was in high school I had all of my molars and three of my wisdom teeth extracted. One was left in cause it grew in on its side and the dentist was afraid taking it out would do more harm then good. Well today I was eating my luch when all of a sudden I felt something swimming around in my mouth. Then I was like what the fuck my tooth fell out. I totally tweaked out. I know have a big whole in the back of my mouth where part of it came out on its own. I now have to go back to Indiana tonight and go see the dentist bright and early at 7am. YACK! He is not sure what he is going to do yet....but I am scurred.... I hate the dentist. Ok I have to go now...wish me luck...

i remember when i was getting my tooth pulled out the dentist numbed my face and told me to make certain faces ,he ended up laughing at me. I didn't know what he was doing at first. I was never put to sleep. A needle going into your gums doesn't hurt that much.

That is very rare, btw, is it the last wisdomteeth that was floating around, or is it one of the front teeth ?

Anyway, ask the dentist to check on your gums for that is prob. where the problems from.

And also verefy how far your yawbone has reduced and what you can do to prevent it from decreasing !
Maybe inplants are an option.

But please take action, the dentist ain't that bad once you're used to him/her and they can solve alot of problems for the future.
(well, not in my case, but I was maried to one )

Ok three novacane shots, the horrible sound of my tooth crushing and braking in my mouth and a couple of yanks and I am all better. But now my mouth hurts and is a bit swollen. I look like a squirel who only stores his nuts on one side of his mouth I am going shopping...that will make me feel better.

Basically my jawbone and my mouth was to small ( who would of thought ) and causing great compact of my teeth when they were growing in. My orthadontist and dental surgeon both decided that it would be a good idea to surgically extract three of my wisdom teeth and four of my molars. However one of the wisdom teeth grew in 100% on its side and they were afraid it was going to do more damage then harm if they went in and took that one out. So they left it in. Well as the years went on....it pushed itself down more but still on its side. With its position it was not a healthy tooth either. What happened is that basically it decayed and the center of the tooth is what fell out and the outside was still intact. My dentist said he was not suprised it happened and eventually the rest would of fallen out but it would of been better to take it out now instead of leaving it in and chancing the roots getting exposed or getting a bad infection. So in the long run it was bound to happen it just took forever for it to do its things. Scared the fucking bajesus out of me thought
