I love them but I hate them! I have 3 siblings, and getting older I've just learned to not like them even more.... I'm tired of my manipulative sister that has my parents and other people fooled as to how selfish and sneaky she is, and her son that is a heathon (sp?). My brother makes asian jokes to his wife (who is japanese) and an occasional black joke -- now don't get me wrong, I have humor, but these are not appropriate when my 8 yr old daughter is around... especially since her dad is half black. And my youngest sister, and her GHETTO ASS, her and her husband are such losers... and the only time she comes over is every saturday to do free laundry.
there is SO much more to all of it.... loads of drama, but I'll save it.....

I want to say something so bad, but it will turn into a family fight, and I live with my parents so I can go back to school..... so I don't want to rock the boat. If I didn't live here, OMG I would be going off in a heartbeat! I'm really tired of seeing my parents not be appretiated like they should be... but at the same time, my parents are enablers and basically ask for crappy treatment!!! Please say there's someone else with these problems..... I am so close to just grabbing my daughter, and our things, and moving far far away to avoid the stress and worry.

If it's any comfort - which Im sure it's not - I got nothing but issues with my, so-called family.

just about everyone has issues with their family, i think. if my mother wasn't making me crazy on a regular basis, i'd wonder if she'd been kidnapped and replaced with a robot clone. but, as cliche as it sounds, they're the only family you have, so ya gotta make the best of it to some extent. sometimes it's really hard. sometimes it's just annoying. sometimes it's cool.

i'm so glad i'm an only child. i don't have to deal with crazy siblings and parents who play favorites. although sometimes my parents act like kids and that can be damn annoying.

My family is cool. I knock around with my brother all the time.

Ugh I can't stand my family. They get so upset over little things...like when I want to borrow money to build a cool soapbox racer. Or they get pissy when I ask them to run in and get me cigarettes and then I drive away. Or they criticize my clothing: like when I wore my aluminum suit to by nephew's christening. And Jeez, my sister threw a fit just because I parked my Dodge Dart on her front lawn for a couple of months!

Yes. I get along heaps better with my in-laws, and that's probably because they don't speak English very well
My family can spend about half a day together before someone blows up. So we just don't. It makes me sad since I have kids of my own and they don't see much of them, but at least my husband's family is always there for us.

Thanks everyone with serious input.... it's much appretiated. Some days I just feel like I'm going to blow..... it helps to know i'm not the only one with these problems!! Bad day I guess..... THANKS AGAIN
