I live in Detroit...love all of the local teams, EXCEPT 1...  THE DETROIT PISTONS! 
Ya'll don't understand, THIS IS AN INTENSE HATRED OF EVERYTHING THEY STAND 4! I want EVERY team to beat them. The Bad Boys of the 80's RUINED basketball the way it was meant to be played. They slowed down the game, won by scoring 70 pts a game, and hacked their way to 2 championships. Now that they've hacked their way thru Jason Kidd's Nets...they have to contend with Indiana... Go PACERS! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

When Larry and Magic were winning championships, the scores were in the 120's-130's for 4 quarters...precision passing, fast breaks, better shooting, great leadership... Then THEY happened...hacking defense, they understood that a foul is called only once, no matter how hard you hit the guy, so why not FOUL him? Dirty, cheapshots. Half court offense that slowed the game down to a crawl... They won with that style, and teams followed their lead. Look at the games now...scores in the 80's, everyone is mugged down low... The Bad Boys were the originators. The current team is winning in the same style, no surprise that their President of Operations is Joe Dumars, a bad boy... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol.
