The only movies I am remotely interested in seeing this summer are:

Shrek 2 - Mike Myers is a comedic genius
Troy - Brad Pitt - need I say more.
The Manchurin Candidate - Denzel - one of the finest actors

The rest can wait until dvd and even then I won't waste my time with some. For example, I would steer clear of "White Chicks", "Soul Plane", "Van Helsing", "the Day after tomorrow". These movies look pure shit!

I do want to see "Spiderman 2" and might, might go see "Anchorman". Might see "Shrek 2" this weekend. It looks good and I'm very impressed that children's cartoon movies can be so damn funny these days ("The Emperor's New Groove" might be one of my favorite movies).

David Spade's voice was perfect for that part... as was John Goodman.

Last night we went to see Shrek 2 and The Prince and Me at the drive-in..... Shrek 2 is hilarious!!! Just as funny as the first, which is hard to do I think. And The Prince and Me was really cute, but so predictable.

I saw Shrek 2 and it was wonderful!

The Day After Tomorrow was fairly boring, a few visually exciting scenes but it's basically crap.

Van Helsing was crap

I am really looking forward to Hero!

There's nothing wrong with the movie that I know of. In fact I've never sat down to watch it. I was basically laughing at the quote tag being misplaced so it had looked like I had said the good comments on the movie when in fact I hadn't said anything about it at all, and I had to scroll up and take a look to see if someone was playing with my head.
