HERMIT CRABS  !!! they're sooooo cute... tiny little babies. 
So does anyone here know anything about these things?? The guy wasn't very helpful.... I have a few questions. Can we hold them or is that bad?? Can they crawl around when we get them out?? We bought ones whose shells were PAINTED, which kinda of made
the sale for them. One has an American flag shell and the other a Pink floral shell. At the store, they were crawlin' around like crazy. We bought crab food, were told to keep them in a humid environment, and have LOADS of fun with them... I seriously don't know what they eat...they don't seem to touch the food that we place down for them. I joke that they live off of "the spirit", cause they dont touch the water either, I think it evaporates before they touch it... My kids won't pick them up anymore because the bigger one pinched her HARD once. He got my wife too. When you pick them up, they cowar back inside their shell. When I refill their water bowl, I make sure to dip them into the water and food (so they know it's there) and then place them up in the front of the glass tank. I do this so I can see if they've moved, then I know they're still alive, 'cause they hardly ever move. Oh, YEAH, LOADS of FUN!!! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol.
