I was never a soccer fan. Thought it was boring as hell. But then I was in Europe in 1998 during the World Cup (was that the year France won?) and I was totally caught up in it!

The city where I was had this huge screen set up in the old town and everyone would watch all the games. It was like a permanent party. It was a blast!
