Parents, are your kids "tweeners"? You know, at that point in their lives when they like kids stuff, but also teenage stuff.
a few exampes: * I caught my son flipping channels between SpongeBob Squarepants and the NBA pregame show. * His posters in his room- Cartoon Hulk, NSync, Backstreet Boys, SpongeBob Squarepants... and 50 Cent . ah...8 years old is such a strange age... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Ex-Moderator | I have a niece who's 13 and still very much in that stage. She's just so innocent and adorable and yet trying to grow up by wearing make up and stuff. I took her to see a production of the Wizard of Oz for her Xmas present and partway into the first act she took out her huge hoop earrings to better rest her head on my shoulder. When I was 13 I wouldn't have been caught dead being so chummy with an Aunt or my mom but she thinks nothing of it. (And I totally love her for it!) |
