Right now, at 3.04pm, there's a thunderstorm going where I am. I love thunder especially during nighttime when you can see the flashes clearly, and I can watch it indefinitely or walk out in the middle of it and just enjoy myself as nature displays its forces. I have never been afraid of thunder, but I was wondering: Are or were you afraid of thunder or do you like it?

Now I got "Thunder" stuck in my head.

i love thunder and lightning and the sound of rain and wind.

only thing i don't like about the rain and wind aspect of storms is they 're can soak and blow birds out of the trees. i've found wet/cold birds on the ground after a storm, especially when it's spring and there are new chicks in the trees

i think the best-ever display of lightning i've seen was at the celebration a few years back. right over paisley park. the lightning looked like tumbleweeds it rocked

And, I curl up in a window seat and watch until it "lulls" me to sleep...my wanting a "front row seat" to the light and sound show always has made my mum (who is terrified of thunder/lightning storms) crazy...

...To step it up a notch, one generation to another...lol...One of my favorite movies is Twister starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxon. And, due to the recent weather we've been having in the Chicagoland area, my daughter and I decided to watch the movie...2-3 times last week, in fact.

A couple of days ago, Chanel told me she now wants to be a storm chaser like "Jo" (Helen's character). ...that would make me crazy!
