Chupacabra skeletons????

This one's for all y'all Cryptozoologists! A weird story out of Chile:

Chupacabras in Providencia?

CHUPACABRAS IN PROVIDENCIA?

A group of workers made a strange discovery: they came across three
carcasses of a strange animal while they worked at a house located on
Calle Condell in the commune of Providencia. The three skeletons at
first sight are reminiscent of the image of the feared "chupacabras".

"All three were the same, without any front legs. We were told to
dispose of them, but we were stunned and are still confused...they
can't be rabbits by their shape: the teeth, the long legs and the
fact that they lack hands," said one of the workers to Chilevision
Noticias.
The animals have skulls similar to a cat's, fifteen ribs, large fangs
separated by a one centimeter gap and only two hind legs.

"We'd all like this to be a chupacabras or the offspring of a
chupacabras. I'd be famous, but I don't know if that would be the
case," said the worker.

The skeletons will be examined by veterinarians of the University of
Chile.

hmm

Name: El Chupacabra
Nickname: Chupa
Alias: El Vampiro de Moca
Closest "known" relative: Jersey Devil
Height: 4.5 to 5.5 feet
Weight: unknown
Eyes: very large, often red
Build: quasi-simian-kangaroo-reptile
Likes: goats, chickens, cows, horses, dogs, cats, ducks, travel
Dislikes: bright, shining lights
Favorite hangouts: Guanica, Puerto Rico; Canovanas, Puerto Rico; Klamath Falls, Oregon; Miami, Florida; Calama, Chile; Juarez, Mexico; Sonora, Mexico

Alleged reports of attacks and incidents perpetrated by the Chupacabra always involve slain livestock with telltale marks on their necks.
Originally, owners of the victims thought the Chupacabra to be a half-human, half-vampire beast. The victims, most often goats and chickens, are reportedly drained of all their blood, but are otherwise left intact. There is usually no other evidence of a struggle or attack -- simply two or sometimes three puncture marks (almost large enough to accommodate a human finger) in the animal's neck. The discrepancy of puncture marks could be attributed to this:

Some reports indicate two large protruding fangs.
Some reports indicate three large claws on both the hands and feet.
Stories suggesting Chupacabra activity can be found in newspapers dating back to the 1950s. In fact, the first reported case in North America was in Arizona sometime around 1956. Although incidents have been reported in Arizona, Oregon, Michigan, Illinois, New Jersey, New Mexico, Florida, and parts of Chile, Brazil and Mexico, the majority of activity has occurred in Puerto Rico. A rash of attacks plagued various regions of Puerto Rico in 1995. In Canovanas alone, several hundred livestock fatalities were attributed to the Chupacabra.

Typical, you wait years for a chupacabra skeleton to be discovered, and then three come along at once.

Yup. Chewie died saving the life of Anakin Solo, but it has nothing to do with the Chupacabra.

So, what are peoples thoughts on these skeletons? What if they prove to be true??

I saw a special on the History Channel this weekend , where they talked about how many critters were once thought to be a myth, but were then later proved by cryptozoologists (like the Giant Squid and the Panda Bear). Are we looking at another such instance, or will this turn out to be a big hoax?
