Some of us “old-timers” can remember when Saturday mornings, from 8AM to Noon, was nothing but cartoons. Each year, the was usually a good “live action” Kroft show thrown in the mix; like Electra Woman & Dyna Girl, The Lost Saucer, Far Out Space Nuts. I recall the anticipation of the hour long specials all 3 of the networks used to air, on a Friday night, at the start of the season, which showcased all of the new cartoons. Boy, do I feel ancient………………..

Some cartoons I liked were:
Battle of The Planets (G-Force)
Thundarr
Speed Racer
Fat Albert
Roman Holiday
Sea Lab 2020
Laff Olympics

The Kroft stuff was great (although not cartoons themselves, as stated). Land of the Lost, Sigmund & the Sea Monsters, H.R. Puffinstuff, etc. Remember Space Nuts? (LUNCH, not LAUNCH!) There was also some android show with Jim Neighbors but I can't remember the name of it.

As far as cartoons, Superfriends ruled! Others I would watch occasionally would be Batman, Saturday Supercade (with Donkey Kong, etc), Pac-Man, Smurfs, Tarzan, Hong Kong Phooey, Captain Caveman, Spider-friends, the Incredible Hulk, and others that I just can't think of at the moment.

And let's not forget G.I.JOE. And now you know ("...and knowing is half the battle!") biggrin

hmph! This isn't like Transformers vs. Gobots.
They both had their charms. Ulysses had a more romantic idea underpinning it. Wheeled Warriors was more gory and full of chopping. smile

Thundercats were rad but I liked He-man better, probably because I ruined all my Thundercats toys by playing with them in the mud.

Some of my favorites were:

He-Man
She-Ra
Transformers
Thundercats
Super Mario Bros. Super Show (With Zelda on fridays!)
Captain N. The Game Master
Ghostbusters
The Adventures of Little Koala
Voltron
The Little Shop Of Horrors cartoon
Count Duckula
Duck Tales
Darkwing Duck (There were a lot of good duck cartoons!)
Speed Racer
Gargoyles
Voltron

There's probably more, but I can't remember 'em...
