Ok, I feel that it's time for me to stop coming to this website. I've been around since ´96 and the old black and purple and it's been fun. Some of you have been really cool and I appreciate that. There have been many good times and interesting encounters.

BUT I really am sick of all the cliques, the positivity police, the childish comments, the backstabbing, the pointless threads and a lot of the other stuff that has been going on here. I'm also sick of those who are afraid to stand up against the above mentioned stuff. Where's your backbone, people? The ones who do speak up are way too few.

Furthermore, I'm bored with the same old threads popping up on a regular basis. It's just not fun anymore when you're a jaded orger who has seen it all come and go a dozen times. Not even the Prince: Music And More section offers much novelty anymore, despite the fact that good old P keeps producing new material.

I will spend a bit of time going through old threads that I've posted on and print out memorable discussions, but then it is time to close this account (and yes, it is and always has been my only one). So for those of you who would like to stay in touch, please org note me as soon as possible and I'll send you my e-mail address.

To the good, independent-minded people: A big hug!
To the attention whores, the brainwashed yes-sayers, the cliques, the spammers, etc: Good riddance!

hope you find a better place to go. what do you expect tho, there are a lot of people on here and there are a lot of personalities. that's the great thing about the world: everyone is the same and different at the same time.

I'm sorry to see you go, as well, Vibrator. That's the thing with being on the org for so long though... you see the same threads time and time again, because you've been around for so long. Newbies come in and it's all new stuff for them. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I answered the same question or replied to the same thread on here... Cliques are going to happen here, just like it happens outside of the forums here in "real life".

Sometimes it feels like high school (or grade school), but like Milty said, there are a lot of personalities on here... we're not ever going to like or agree with what everyone is saying or doing.

I hope you reconsider and stick around....

I'm not expecting everybody to agree with me, and I do see it as an asset that we have so many different personalities around here. It's quite amazing and I don't think any other artist has such a wide variety of fans.

But there really has been too much crap going on. Much more than in real life. At least much more than in my real life which, I'm glad to say, doesn't resemble high school life one bit. That's why I'm leaving. And sorry, I won't change my mind.

Even though I've only been around a couple of years (and a lot more since my job allowed me to be bored a few months ago), I'm glad to have at least made your acquintance. I hate to see anyone leave anything under any kinds of unpleasant circumstances or bad feelings, but I know it happens from time to time. I'm sorry to see you go. Take care.

This pisses me off for real, but it is what inevitably happens when the cliques are allowed free reins. I understand and respect your decision though.

I had no idea you'd been an orger for such a long time, it has to suck to feel that you want to leave because of the newer people here. These people are pretty much like me in that we have very little to add to the Prince discussions and are mostly playing around, but I've cut down on my org time too and felt no worse off for it really.

I'm glad I'm not here enough to get fed up. If it wasn't for the Artist Community I probably wouldn't come here though... That's the thing, if you are going to be a director/writer then get to it! I wish you all the best! Creativity is LIFE. I don't know where you are with that, so I mean no disrespect... I'm just saying that if your org life is taking time away from that, then it's understandable to have to go, or just take a break. God knows I've used this place to avoid my creativity plenty of times... not saying you're doing it too, just some insight.


Anyway, good luck. It's a bummer to see "good" people go, but I think there are lots more good people that just don't post... It's just not worth it to fight on a message board. It's not that some of us don't have backbone... I dunno, just my 2 cents.
