 I was trying to find a picture of the cereal... it's so ancient. This is all I found... and this short write-up. 
"The Smurfs had a cereal -- "Smurf Berry Crunch." Didn't last on the shelves long, and there's a hilarious reason why: it turned kids' crap blue. No, seriously, that's why it didn't last. Poor Brainy. Goodnight..." Found this mention on some site... and... I don't remember my crap ever being blue.
