well, i went in today, to have papers filled out for not having a job anymore. sat down with my regular group of friends at work, and the boss was called to come out. when he got there, they all cleared out....and he was all but askin me to bend over so he could kiss my ass (he knew i was calling the home office about him and his behavior). anyway....he filled out my papers, and where it said, was i laid-off or fired, he said, what would you like me to write here ? meaning, which would do you better ? i said, put that i was fired, thats what happened. next to that was a line for them to write why the person was let go.... when he returned the paper to me, it was blank. i said, ummmm, you are gonna need to fill this out, they will want to know (as well as me) why i lost my job. he informs me that he cant put that in writing.
i said, why not ? its me youre talking about, and i say its alright.
he still refused....so i said, fine, do you have some termination papers here at this company ?
he says, yes ? why ? you want that too ?
i said, does it include why you were fired ?
he said, yes it does...
i said, sure, go for it then, lets write it out
he stood up to go get the papers...and said, see, the thing is.....

that opened up a huge conversation, in which i was there to support all of my case to him, i held my own -- and i am proud. there was no screaming, no yelling, voices werent raised....he did try to get loud one time with me, and i simply stated, i am not here to fight with you, i just need to know WHY i lost my job.

anyway, long story short...as i stated before, there was no real reason, and he knew that, so, he gave me my job back !!!!! he shook my hand at the end, and said, let me tell you one thing.... you are probably one of the very best people i have here with my customers...and you add a lot to us here, im happy you are back.

talk about a jaw dropping ???? man, i was like....wtf ? you fired me 4 freakin days ago.....but, i just smiled, shook his hand back.....and said thank you. but inside, i did this cuz, i know, i didnt cave under the pressure, and i stuck to it, and i WON !!! now thats how ya win a debate

this would make a great movie staring Kevin Spacey as the boss.....
