The Last Episode Of Angel (Spoiler Warning)

For all those who watched it, what did you think? Did you like the "Butch And Sundance" style ending, or did it smack of a way to leave the show open-ended for a return of the characters later on??

Personally, I cried like a little girl with Illyria taking Fred's form while Wes died!bawl

Man, I don't want it to be over! I don't want the Buffyverse to not be represented on TV!! fit

I watched Angel for the first few episodes, but i stopped after Doyle died..
I was sorry to hear Angel got cancelled, which is the stupidest thing the WB did.. And of course I miss Buffy every Tuesday night.. My tuesdays aren't the same anymore!

Yeah, she keeps doing crap like the Scooby Doo movies, but won't come back to the character that gave her her entire fanbase, as well as her career. I can understand wanting to take a break for a year or two, by to say "never" is pretty stupid.

Still, there are plenty of other great characters that could be featured in the movies: Giles, Spike, Andrew, Angel, Illyria, Gunn, Faith, Xander, The Slayer Trainees, and my personal choice: WILLOW!!!! Shoot, just give Will her own series!! She rocks!!!

Obviously, the WB is run by crackheads. The only show they have left that is worth a crap is "Smallville". The rest of their lineup is a stinking, rotting landfill.

i agree, but I have never seen Smallville, maybe i will start watching it. I hears Joss is working on a movie of his last series that bombed 'Firefly' I didnt think that was to bad but they only aired like 5 episodes

"Smallville" is quite good (and it just keeps getting better). The great thing about it is, whether or not you are familiar with the "Superman" mythos is irrelevant. If you are, then there's a whole lot of cool twists on the story, and it still manages to keep you guessing. If you are not, then its a whole new world for you. The characters are richly developed, and you can see the development of Clark Kent into a hero, as well as Lex Luthor's inevitable turn to the "dark side". Smallville being the epicenter for the meteor shower that brought the hero to earth gives it lots of leeway to tell cool stories (much in the same way that Sunnydale being above a Hellmouth gave the writers reasons to have creepy critters running all over the place on "Buffy"). In short, I think you'd dig it!!
