How do you tell if the bag is a fake or not? The reason I ask is.....over the past several months I have noticed hundreds of women with these bags. I don't mean any offense to anyone, but how do people afford these bags if they are real? I've heard they cost up to $2,000. I see at least 10 women a day on the subway with LV bags and it makes me wonder if they are real. I see teenagers with them too. Is there a way to spot a fake? They all have leather tags with the name and they definitely look real, but what's the deal??

i think you have to look real closely to tell a real from a fake. i'll bet that most of those teenagers have fakes.

Ask Monsieur Vuitton.

It looks cheap.

You can tell a fake one from a real one in the coloring and in the quality of the leather. The fake ones are usually brighter. Also, the logos on the real ones are slightly raised, not just printed on.

Just like you can tell a fake Rolex.

If they're walking out of Wendy's at 11pm in a pit stained uniform carrying what should be a $3,000 bag, its fake!

If they're walking down the street, smellin musty, pushing a shopping cart carrying what should be a $2,000 bag, its fake!

Or if they're wearing dingy highwater black pants with an even dingier used-to-be-black fruit of the loom t-shirt & plain old white canvas shoes that are filthy, but she's rockin a White bag that sells for $2,500, its fake!

I've seen all of these!
