I only speak English. sad I speak just the tiniest bit of French. Enough so I could order food when I was in France, ask where the bathroom was, tell everyone I am going to the library, or the beach, that sort of thing. But not enough to be really useful.

I don't really like speaking French much because if feels like I spit too much. confused Plus it's harder for me to get as opposed to Japanese. For me Japanese is a billion times easier.

English is my native language. At one point I was semi-fluent in French, but I'm seriously rusty now. I can usually read French and get the gist of it, but when it comes to speaking French, I'm reduced to tourist-like phrases.
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.

Oh, I like speaking French. But I'm sure I sound like an idiot to the trained ear. I was in a bakery in Paris trying to order a pastry, and I know I was saying the right words, but the lady couldn't understand me and I finally just had to point. Of course, she might just have been rude. neutral

I'm trying to get better at my Spanish...the only way is to use it often.
Luckily, I hear it quite often from my mom, in-laws, and at the Spanish
Baptist Church that I go to.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

No, never been there. My ex is Filipino so I picked up a lot of the language at social gatherings plus I taught myself via a book. Naku!
