No More ALIAS in 2004??? I'm LIVID!!!! I just read on aintitcool.com that after this Sunday's season finale, there's gonna be NO MORE ALIAS UNTIL 2005!!!!
Now, come on. That aint' right. What am I supposed to do for spinning headkicks, ninja drag queens or double agent swimsuit models with laser-beam Fendi sunglasses??? I might as well box up my TV and hide it in the closet for the rest of the year. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

This would never have happened if they'd have kept Mommie Dearest on the show.
I mean Faye Dunaway, not Lena Olin (but her too).

And I thought this thread was about those particular folks here that have multiple accounts. To Sir, with Love

Well, this sucks, but it is typical of what ABC has done in the past to shake up thier line-up. Hearing that 24's fourth season might do the same thing as ALIAS is doing -- starting in January 2005 with 24 no-repeat episodes and maybe on a new night (Monday).
From tvguide.com Alias" move will no doubt raise eyebrows, but it does have two major pluses: Allowing ABC to launch a new drama out of a reality hit and giving "Alias" fans a chance to watch the serialized drama without worrying about endless repeats or long stretches between original segs. (Downside: ABC will be without one of its few buzzworthy hours for a while, and it'll be a full seven months between seasons three and four of the show.) SEVEN MONTHS? I hope this is a good move on ABC's part, If not, then season 4 of ALIAS wil be its last. Hopefully ABC does not pull anything like they did to The Practice or Drew Carey Show/Whose Line. So, two of my favorite shows on TV -- 24 and ALIAS -- will be delayed until January 2005. Don't like this. Hopefully ABC will be mindful of all of the award shows it normally airs that somehow pre-empt ALIAS. Ah, such is life after Friends -- all the TV networks jockeying for position to reclaim the lead. I sure hope ABC execs know what they are doing.

Hmmm, I've never seen the show, but I've heard good things. I don't know about doing it this way. Its certainly good to have no repeats or pre-emptions, but then again, it could kill the momentum the show has.
I'm a tad bit worried about them doing the same to 24 (one of my fave shows). Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
