when you consider the population of england and the fact that their league is one of the top 3 in europe.....england's record in world and european championships is shocking!!!!they have never reached any major final since 1966...only two semi-final appearances in 18 tournaments!!!!!for a country that considers itself a major footballing nation, that is very poor and i don't see that poor run getting any better in euro 2004.
...yes scotland are crap but we are a very small nation compared to england and we have a german manager who doesn't have a clue what he is doing so it can only get better once he is sacked for failing to qualify for the world cup in 2006which scotland have no chance of getting to.
