Allergies

Anyone else here got allergies??

Today they are kicking my ass... Scratchy watery eyes, stuffy nose!!! UGH!!!

I am also allergic to mosquito bites or insect bites.. I get bit once and the bite swells up like a balloon.. Not fun!!!

What is everyone else allergic to if anything??

i get mild pollen allergies. pollution can get them going but that seems to have dies down, too.

i'm also bad with the bug bites, especially if i get them outside of my home state. i spent a summer in vermont and whenever i got a misquito bite a very large area around the bite would swell up and be so painful!

I've got a wicked dustmite allergy. I have to go for allergy shots twice a week. It hurts like hell, but I haven't had a sinus/throat infection since I started (I used to get them ALL the time.)

I have hayfever, and it used to knock me the !#$! out!!...Seriously, when I was a kid I used to be rushed to the hospital with regularity, it got so bad... sad

It wasn't until I moved to California that my hayfever stopped having a serious effect on me...California and Arizona are perfect for someone like me, it seems. Can't believe I can breathe as easily as I do now..lol thumbs up!

I am allergic to red onions, mushrooms, dust (wahhhh-choooo!!!!).

My daughter is allergic to cats, pollen, dust, snow dust.

Oh yeah, forgot..... I am also allergic to make-up. All I can wear is lipstick by Shiseido. Anything else on my face - forget it. One time I put make-up on my face and it was scary as my face could not feel my fingers eek

My daughter has them bad right now... itchy, blood-shot eyes... the school is making her stay home because they swear it is pink eye. They do this often to me. Always calling because her eyes are red from crying because she couldn't wear something she wanted or allergies. So... she's home until the redness passes.

I'm very thankful that I don't have to go through this like some of you.

This easily has to be the worst year for allergies for me. I had an allergic reaction to Ibuprofen, which I was taking to deal with a wrist pain, insect bites(assuming one was a spider which doesn't help my arachnophobia.) and had to get tetanus and another shot to reduce swelling, but the doozies recently have been dust, grass, and pollen. It starts off with the usual sneezing, and blowing, then coughing kicked in about a week and a half ago. I'm a Benadryl or its cheaper Kaiser cousin addict, but since I need to save that for the impending sun rash, I've been using Allegra this week. At least it doesn't cause drowsiness. It works better than Claritin IMO. Other random allergic reactions: anything with SPF in it, MAC lipsticks, keylime pie, and cherries.
