OMG! We saw the play in 3rd or 4th grade with my class and we would practice scenes from it. I recall rehearsing in the auditorium, but I don't remember performing it. I didn't have a big part, so that's probably why...

Or maybe real near by...

I love those songs! I think I'm gonna have to rent it tonight or something. And sing along by myself in my own house. giggle

I had my first date at "Annie" in 1982. I was 7 years old and went to see it with my mom, her best friend Doris...and Doris' granddaughter Anne. My mom kept telling me to "stop flirting." I didn't even know what the heck flirting WAS! I DO remember desperately wanting to see "Camille" for years after I saw this movie. I now own a copy of it.

"Annie" is still a fave of mine. I love Tim Curry as Rooster.

I used to LOVE Dark Crystal! I've always been drawn to fantasy movies in particular - the LOTR Trilogy are my favourite movies ever!!!

As a kid, tho, I used to love scaring myself silly with the Twilight Zone Movie, Something wicked this way comes (anyone else seen that? it's a very old movie but such a fantastic one!) and American werewolf in London

I was a sick child eek LOL

'The Goonies' (1985)

What a movie!.... I must have watched this film so many times when I was a kid that I could

practically recall almost every line scence by scence whilst watching this fantastically excellent

super fun caper biggrin

Remember this crew?....

lol

I also read that some time last year, Warners were at the early stages of production for a

sequel called Goonies 2: Goonies Never Say Die, with alot of the original cast members nuts

Don't really know how far into the pipeline that production has actually come to date though.

biggrin
