Ok, this is getting really freaky, with people seeming to see something totally evil about my intentions, or that I'm directing something at them personally. I feel now like I have to step-by-step explain my thought processes so that people understand and are not offended.

It's actually pretty simple: I was thinking earlier today about the power of physical beauty, and how people react to it. (A recurring issue for me, as many of you know) I thought that it would be cool to do an "anti-beauty" thread, to get different people's perceptions of what "ugly" is.

Part of my "rules" were that traditionally "beautiful" people in "ugly" poses shouldn't be used. As far as my post that everyone seems to be upset about--it wasn't directed at anyone's post, or at any Orger. There have been NO snide remarks or allusions to any Orger's appearance or personality. The pictures I used went from Googling "ugly" to "angry" (which is considered ugly) and that is it.....

Heather, as I orgnoted, it was in no way linked to anything you posted. The emoticon was literally meant as "D'OH", as in, "I forgot to say/add".....

To Azure, it had to have sounded like a direct comment to her specifically...to me (and I guess to Vibrator as well), it sounded like a reaction...and we couldn't figure out what she was reacting to.

My original post WAS gonna be "You're making the mistake of assuming that there is such a thing as physical ugliness..."...but I got sidetracked..lol
