My daughter finally lost her first tooth even though she is 6 1/2 years old!!!

All her friends from school have lost quite a few already so this was a joyous moment.

Your daughter is beautiful bkw. My kids would lose their teeth and then before bed would put it under their pillow. And in the a.m. they would find money , they believed me about the tooth fairy thing. Sometimes I forgot and they would be disappointed or mad that the tooth fairy did not come. So sometime during the day I would sneek some money under their pillow and they would eventually find it. I would then tell them "see there is a tooth fairy and I told you she would come"....

Now... congratulations on her losing her first tooth! My son has lost two already, but my daughter is so anxious to lose some that she is constantly saying how all of her teeth are loose... and she's not even lying! (lol... she likes to add that when she's lying).

OH wow!!! She's lucky she gets $2!! When i was a kid, dat was alotta moneyz I remember gettin 20 and 50 cent coins..occasionally...till i finally caught on..n i was like 'how come sometimes i dont get anymoney under my pillow? Am i not puttin my tooth there da right wayz?' hehehehehe.

My mom ruined the tooth fairy for me when I was in kindergarten... I ran into a boy face-on at school and my front two teeth turned all black. The roots were dead or something. Anyway my mom took me to the dentist and brought all of my baby teeth that I had already lost with her... thereby dispelling the myth. Too bad. I continued to receive money for my teeth, even though I knew the truth, cause I'm a spoiled brat!
