what a weird week! i've been having this really tuff time dealing with good emotions and bad emotions this week. on the bad side, i've been reacting really badly to the images out of Iraq including the Berg thing. on the good side, i have found great reasons to have returned home. things like the cleaner air, my folks and even the amazing sunsets.
it's been a serious tug of war this week. all this war stuff has really done a number on me this week. so much so i picked a fight with my ex which was quite nasty even tho in the end we did have a jovial conversation. it's made me react really negatively at the people at work as well. but at the same time, i've been telling people about all my good stuff happening here. like for example, i saw a manta ray in the water next to my house the other day. it was just there, hanging out in the water. then slowly swam away. and that sunset i posted the other night as well. how great was that?! it was like that again tonight. anyway, what's my point? i dunno. tug of war? right. anyone feel like that this week?

I know how you feel about the Berg thing.

I feel very much the same way! It will all level out. Amongst great change I find myself unduly emotionally charged.
to you in the mean time! | |

Yes... lately much has felt strange, at this very moment I feel quite bothered... I have felt like this for days, weeks... maybe months.
Tug of war is a good analogy. As Karen mentioned... all eventually levels out, or... we tend to accept certain realities and simply (though not effortlessly) move forward. Yet, those beautiful moments exist all the while... leaving us grateful and appreciative for such moments to exist. Right now... working in the hospital is a key component to bringing me the happiness I seek, as well as spending time with family. The future remains to be seen.

It seems to me.. (unscientific) that when the world is off.... In some sense we are too. The world is always off to some degree but lately I feel it strongly. Combine that with Americas money running higher and higher... ( Real estate ... gas.. milk ... exports of soilders)
What goes up must come down... The law of averages etc... Whatcha think?

What goes up must come down... The law of averages etc... Whatcha think? No, it's just me. (speaking for myself only) I don't follow the news... or what is going on much. [This message was edited Fri May 14 21:38:40 2004 by Freespirit]
