My Body's Getting Older!! Probably because my birthday is coming up, I'm becoming much more aware of the way my body has changed and the things that are different about it. I know I sound like an old lady when I say things like this, but, for example:
--my bones/ligaments are cracking like crazy when I move these days! My neck, my back, my hips, my knees! What's different about your body as you age?

i can predict rain by the pain in my knees. better than Al Roker!

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

When I turned 40 last year, I noticed gray hair that I KNOW I never had before. I also noticed that I don't sleep as soundly or for as long as I used to be able to. That's a real drag. I'm awake at 6:00 am whether it's a work day or not. What a drag it is getting old. But, you have to admit that getting older is a lot better than the alternative

I'm just sayin' that these changes are freaking me out! So tell us about your body problems, Yoli! You are a wise, yet youthful, woman.

Oh God... I posted about this months ago. I have a list a mile long.
Wrinkles... *sigh* My memory is pretty much shot. There was a time when I could remember everything. Now I find it difficult to remember instances from the day prior. Hairs... sprouting where hair shouldn't sprout. Those stupid "tags" on my neck that are popping up like mushrooms. I can actually see those little shapes in my skin on my hands. I have less patience than I did a few years ago... and I didn't have much then. and on and on and on...

My ass is getting wider... with no hope of ever shrinking it again. My hair is getting thinner due to lack of hormones. I forget things. I belch so much. My stomach roars like a lion. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

I can't go through a day of school on only a few hours of sleep... I used to do this day in, day out all through high school. Now I just zonk out as soon as I get to class, and the nausea doesn't help all that much...
I also can't get through a sickness without any medication. I also used to battle illnesses au natural back in high school. Not so anymore. When I'm ill, I'm on all kinds of drugs. My back hurts when I'm sitting at the computer for too long. This NEVER used to happen back in high school. I'm also not as flexible as I used to be - hell, I used to be able to do the splits! - and I get tired faster. I know I'm only 20, but these little changes from three years ago to now are kicking my ass. It's quite depressing, really. I don't know what I'm going to do in ten years. Funny, though, I'm much more happier now than I was in high school... I mean, like, where is the sun?

If you eat something, I bet your hands will stop shaking like an 80 yr old's! I never realized how going long periods of time without eating was bad for me, and that my blood sugar dropped so much that my hands would be shaking visibly, and people would ask me if I was ok.....lol

...lordy, lordy, look who's 40...
(in six years, anyway ) i started getting my grey hair when i was in my mid-20s, now i have hair like mr. fantastic (only i can't stretch like a rubber band). i'm starting to get a resilient belly - i never used to really HAVE a belly - i just to just get fat and puffy when i gained weight, and i could drop weight as quickly as i put it on. now i gotta cut out all kinds of yummy food and i've cut way down on caffeine and i'm running and exercising every day and i'm a lifelong VEGETARIAN for christsakes, and i STILL got the belly. at least i have all my hair, and it looks as though it ain't going anywhere. i really am thankful for that.

St Ive's alpha hydroxy mask works wonders on making your skin look younger and brighter. When I use that and the Nivea q10 lotion, I start getting carded all the time, and people have commented on me looking younger.
Natsume, 20 is pretty young for not being able to handle the all nighters, LOL. Brace yourself, it only gets worse LOLOLOL. When I was 18, even on my worst days after getting shitfaced drunk, wacked out on a buffet of drugs, and staying up all night, I would still look fine the next day. Nowdays, if I go out for a few cocktails and stay up past 2, I look like a train wreck the next day. Getting older isn't all that bad though, I like the extra respect I get these days. I was getting sick of being treated like some "young punk" or "inexperienced" at jobs and in general. I look older, but I also think I look more "experienced" and (not to sound arrogant, lol) more distinguished.
