What is the cost per gallon (US) for unleaded gas where you live?

I live in Detroit and I just paid $2.03 per gallon for unleaded gasoline. neutral

I'm in Waterford and I just paid $1.99 for regular unleaded. I heard it was supposed to be up to $3.00 a gallon for regular unleaded by mid July. I hope that isn't true, or I won't be driving anywhere.

I think I'll be biking as well. This is ridiculous! I thought gas would be cheaper that Bush invaded Iraq (no such luck). I cant think of one reason why I should vote for Bush in November, not one! mad

Don't be blaming this on Bush now. You'll just be falling into the Democratic Party's conspiracy plot. lol

Gas prices aside, I still think he and his administration are incompetent and I will NOT be voting for Bush in November. This has nothing to do with anyone's conspiracy. neutral

All you americans - brace yourself.

I paid £0.819 per litre for diesel at the weekend. There are 4.54545454545 litres per gallon, so that's £3.72 for a gallon. Now the scary bit for you lot - that's equivalent to $6.57! It cost me $55 to fill up (a small 3 door car). Now stop complaining about paying £2 per gallon would you.

how can you think $2 a gallon is so expensive that it justifies invading a bloody country?! That's equivalent to about £0.25 per litre! I think us brits last paid that kind of price about 50 years ago!

D'oh! That's UK gallons. US gallons are equivalent to 3.785 litres so...

£3.10 for a US gallon - still equivalent to £5.47!

And your $2 is equivalent to £0.30 per litre (just 1/3 of what we pay!) bastards...
