I Adopted Prince the Cat Today Some of you may remember about a month back when I posted the story about a cat named Prince that was available for adoption at a local animal shelter. Well, I could not say no, so today I went and adopted him. The process took longer than I thought it would, because the poor cat had a bladder infection, and had to be on medication for 10 days. He's doing much better now, just got him home a few hours ago, he's doing well. Spending a lot of time looking around and meowing (he has a loud voice!), but I think he'll adjust just fine.
In case you're wondering, no I didn't name him Prince, the shelter that rescued him off the streets did.  I can see why they named him that, he's a real sweet cat. And no, I'm not going to put a purple paisley collar on him, or a  tag on him.  But what I am going to do is get him used to listening to Prince music, just like my other cats did. He shouldn't object too much when I explain to him that the artist who is singing the songs has the same name that he does. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

I'm so glad your Prince-kitty is home with you now! He was truly meant to be your kitty.
I gotta say though, especially due to the fact that you did not name him Prince, he definately needs a purple collar and tag! I'm firmly planted in denial | |
