And Horses are being Slaughtered. I am Apalled. Legislation Needs to Be Signed to Stop This. In California Horses are Protected. That's Good News but what about the Other States? What can People Do? Let's write some letters.

Unlike here it's sort of a deviance and most likely get informal sanctions. they are using their resources to get food same as in India where cows are sacred. You say in California horses are protected yet your topic sentence is about horses being eaten in France.

But there's one thing reelly unfair about that:

Cows which are killed to be sold as pieces of meat have been bred in that purpose, spending a peaceful life to eat grass... Horses which are killed come mainly from horseriding school.They are"working" for years and they'd better deserve to spend the rest of their lives in peace, then to die in a natural way instead of being killed and eaten.

In a general way I don't eat meat really often, I never tasted horse and never will.
