They lay their eggs INSIDE living creatures, just like in those Alien movies, and I read that they enter "natural openings" to do so. That means ONE UNLUCKY YAWN and you're done for. They can go up your nose. And if you go camping and take a poo in the woods, THEY COULD FLY RIGHT UP YOUR BUTT AND LAY THEIR LARVAE AND YOU COULD HAVE BUTT BABY FLIES.

Yeah, I'm sorry, but these things scare the crap out of me.

There is a little girl in my school who got her hearing checked because she couldn't hear anything out of her left ear.... the doctor took a look...
a roach had laid it's eggs in her ear and they were HATCHING!!!

The doctor drained her ear and she has some eardrops now.
