Which do you think it is and why? Yuck, that looks like water. On the other hand, take a look at this -----> and it's soon to be empty. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

I try not to judge things until I have all the information. i think so too. the context is important. for example a glass half-full standing beside a waterfall seems more obviously half full. and a glass half-empty standing against a backdrop of desert dune would incline itself toward empty.

Truly.....I think the glass needs to reflect upon itself, profoundly.....before the answer can be known. Only then.....can the answer (I feel) be shared.

No on second thought it was from a William Shatner interview in US magazine. "Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut." Ernest Hemingway

I think you've emptied the glass numerous times already.. I feel.....that only by loving oneself can the glass be truly perceived as full. ((how'd I do?)) [This message was edited Mon May 3 17:25:01 2004 by AnotherLoverToo]

maybe it all depends on the sound of one hand clapping. because if the other hand is busy pouring water in or out of the glass, then the answer would be clear

Or perhaps if a tree fell in the forest, with no one but a half-glass of water to hear, there would only be the sound of one hand clapping?
