Robert De Niro!! WTF!!!

What is going on with Deniro's career?? For someone whose has a lifetime of excellent roles and the awards to prove it, his most recent choices of roles have been NBPC's ( Nothing but a paycheck ). No, I haven't bothered to see GODSEND, Showtime, Analyze That and others, but if it looks like crap, it probably is! headlp pissed

As i am a De Niro fan ....and you can see it from my list www.ymdb.com/user_top20_v...ersid=3170.....I agree that some of those films he has been doing lately are crap.....but wait till he comes out with "The Good Shepherd" next year.....that will certainly be his big comeback.....And before that he will do the voiceover for "Shark Tale" as Don Lino .....
Here I am, you lucky people!

As stated in an interview, DeNiro has had enough of all them heavy roles and is enjoying himself inmensely doing these latest parts. This was about Analyze this or that.

Deniro's been mugging for years, almost caricaturing his previous characters. But, he probably just wants to cruise at this point and make his dramatic turns a bit more noteworthy. Kinda like Musicology. Oops...

Pacino's been playing Opera Man for the past 10 years or so. It's the same thing. At least Hoffman maintains his cinematic indignation with fair consistency. Washington changes it up every once and a while ("Training Day" being the obvious example).

Their paychecks aren't going down any. Maybe these actors are being conditioned? Nice work, if you can get it.

He's an over-rated ham!

The only films I've liked him in were 'The King Of New York' and 'New York, New York'.

I think you're either a De Niro person or a Pacino person - in the same way that people are cat or dog people.
