I hope you're feeling okay today...

EDIT: I googled up what you said about your computer, because I remember a year or so ago there was something going around that made the papers, etc.. that did this to a lot of computers. I'm not sure if this is what you have or not, but it does exactly what you are saying is happening to your computer. W32.Blaster.Worm From reading Symantec's website on this, there are other varients of this worm now... and they have tools to quickly check to see if you have it and then remove it. Might want to give it a shot.

YAY! That worm really created a bunch of havoc about a year ago! It was a huge thing and spread quickly! Apparently someone was pissed off at Bill Gates and found a loophole in his software on XP... so, they/he/she were showing him where he messed up at. Silly people!
