Well only one year into my A-Level Psychology course- but I feel I'm a relatively good judge of character (in most instances) so I'll give this a shot. hmm... well firstly, I'm not that well informed of this subject because I avoid most of these types of threads. Any form of battling between the sexes (here and in my general life) I jus' ignore personally because I think its pathetic. On both sides people get riled up and everyone is obviously very opinionated due to their beliefs and/ or experience. To be honest I hate menists (yes I made that up but u get the idea ) and feminists (unless in both forms theres an obvious need such as women voting and equal pay obv.). Most extreme points of view are done for one sake only if made public and that is for argument. And many people will rise to the bait and so we get the 'men are bastards/ women are bitches' motif and general aura.
I'm presuming these personal posts are essentially trying to pull each other apart by being mean. Such as... I'm guessing lots of suggestions about people having mutated cocks and the such. This is basically a form of mis-placed agression where they are flaming someone to get back for some form of relationship problem they may have had. I feel that in general people are more than happy to engage in or start an argument merely because it is human nature. Where as some people don't know how to treat this thread for example because it is more personal and also people may take this more seriously. Also people nominated for some of the questions may take them the wrong way and subconsciously we're all people pleasin'... for example... in org nominating threads the term 'and loads of other people I can't think of right now' and similar phrases are often used... and yep i use 'em too!
