I remember Haystacks Calhoun ... but not giant haystacks and big daddy .... maybe that is dating myself ....
i also remember chief jay strongbow ... he he ... 
as far as homoerotic ... i would nt say that ... i think its kinda macho men pretending to be macho .... even tho today .... its kinda "out there" as far as i am concerned ... i try to watch it like once every 5 months ... but ... never get into it .... i think it is sooo staged .... that u can predict what is gonna happen now .... maybe i am gettin too old ...  | |

I would say NO!. Wrestling is 'Sports Entertainment', the 1980's and early 1990's was my fave era 4 wrestling. Also ECW was the best wrestling company in terms of storylines and the wrestling itself, although WCW had the WCW vs NWO storyline. 2 the wrestling fans on the org (I think thats just me   ) do u remember the Artist Formely Known As Prince Iaukea who had fake-Purple Rain type music and a manager called Paisley, that was cool. May have had somethin' 2 do with WCW being part of AOL/Time Warner at the time.
Also I read in a interview once that Prince used 2 mimic pro-wrestlers like Mad Dog Vachon and others from the Minneasota area. Cuz Minnesota was a big wrestling area with Jesse Ventura, the late Curt Henning, the late Rick Rude and others from the Minnesota area. Also Jerry Lynn (who is currently wrestling 4 NWA Total Non-Stop Action) and Brock Lesnar r from Minnesota too. Interesting 2 see a wrestling debate on the org! | |
