Common. Even I had to get my weekly Seven Of Nine (she is now rerunning on Dutch tele) and T'Pol fix.
I love Jolene without the wig. And without the clothes. She makes me wanna be straight.

He is so darn cute!! And thank you sooooo much for the TREKKIES not "trekers" ~ We don't have cable/satellite right now, but my Father-in-law has been taping Enterprise for us. I haven't gotten into it as much as Voyager, but it's still good. HATE the dang theme song though...so not Star Trek theme music! UGH!

I was always way, way more interested in Star Wars as a kid growing up. However, I did enjoy Star Trek in small doses as a child.
Liutenant Uhura was one of the 1st women I can ever recall being physically attracted to and looking back at the original 60s series I still am not afraid to admit that I fancy her... I've only ever seen two Star Trek movies; 'The Wrath of Khan' which gave me the creeps a little when Chekov seems to panic about some millipede at the beginning if I recall and 'The Undiscovered Country' which I went to see with my Mum and Dad at the cinema which was an enjoyable enough affair. After that I had little interest in the 'Next Generation' etc in the sense that I felt a certain bond with the 1st crew-Spock, Scottie, Sulu, Chekov and Kirk of cause. I perhaps should also mention Ms Homer (I know what you're thinking already) who was my science teacher at lower, secondary school. She was a somewhat sensitivie sort who often cried because kids were cruel to her which they often are. However, she did have it coming to her being a big Trekkie and wearing knitted jumpers with liquorice allsorts on them. She used to have little plastic figures of Star Trek members on her desk and some bastard (or bitch if it was female. I didnt know the guilty culprits gender) took it upon themselves to melt Spock's head with a bunsen burner and stick its now melted, gooey head to the ceiling. Naturally enough.....Ms Homer cried. This was all at a time before The Simpsons came to prominence you understand so I shudder to think what's happened since I left.

Enterprise has gotten better, but there's still times that make me
Voyager lost me about midway through it's run. I just couldn't take it anymore. DS9. Now that was a good show! JD, you saw the two best Trek movies ever made. NCC2012... your local Trekkie. =/\=

<----- Major TNG nerd.
I think I've seen every episode, most of them twice. I've been to a convention. It's smart and idealistic in a not-too-smarmy way, and Patrick Stewart is a sexy beast. That's about all I can ask from a TV show.

Really, they're just shopping opportunites and I'm not a collector, but it was an experience. I'm glad I went.

Well, I like Enterprise about as much as I like Voyager, which is to say, I don't care much for it at all. I really tried to like Voyager. I watched it for most of its run, but I just didn't much care for most of the characters. I found the show to be boring, and incredibly repetitive of stories already told on TOS and TNG. I tried watching Enterpirse, but found it to be a much less developed Voyager Not hating on all y'all who enjoy the series though. The great thing about the Trek universe is that its so fully realised that certain things will appeal to certain people, and others won't. Just look at Gooey's example of how much he disliked Worf. To me, he was one of the best characters in the Trek universe. See? Something for everyone.
Personally, I loved DS9. I thought it was the best series of all of them. The stories were broader in scope, and spanned seasons at times. It incorporated storylines and characters from ALL the other Trek series. It ended brilliantly too! The characters were wonderful, and all grew and developed throughout the series run. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

I was the first to discover it and pasted a new MOVING Bjork picture into my quote line. It was fun, but everybody started doing it and then it slowed down the threads so much you could hardly open them! LoL
