TREKKIES! Beam yerself into this thread! In Holland, every monday this channel does a double whammy of Enterprise episodes.
And I am loving it. Became fan while working in a recordstore that also sold the tapes, which we could take home for a day. That way I saw all the episodes of The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager. And now I try to watch every episode of Enterprise and I must say; I like this series almost as much as I do Voyager. My faves in this series are; Sub Commander T'Pol and Commander Charlie 'Trip' Tucker III [This message was edited Tue Apr 27 4:32:12 2004 by gooeythehamster]

I watched 2 TNG's, 2 Voyagers and last week's Enterprise back to back on Sunday. I was afterwards.
I agree with you Gooey, the new series of Enterprise is getting better and better. Last weeks was really funny - the one where Dr. Flox (or is it Phlox?) is looking after Enterprise with (or so he thinks) T'Pol (yum). Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

Hey Gooey, I didn't know you were a trekkie! Three things we have in common and counting. Although I can't follow that Trip fascination. Everytime I see him, I think it's George W. (and shriek!). And when you compare it to Voyager, you really lose the plot!

It's the sexy drawl, the cute eyes and lazy smile. Sander said: And when you compare it to Voyager, you really lose the plot!
In what way? | |

Okay, for your pleasure: How you like them "Cute Eyes", "Lazy smile" and "Sexy drawl"... Losing the plot, yes. Enterprise itself is losing the plot. I guess it's okay when watching the show as camp, cuz that's what enterprise has done to startrek. Does T'Pol have to be greased up every show, or sexually attack every man in sight again and again? It has the worst storylines and characters ever in startrek. At least DS9 had a few interesting ones. It has some potential in first encounters of 'well-known' aliens. But until now it's a combination of 'the bold and the beautiful' and 'Baywatch'. That's like Prince covering a Brian Adams song in a discostyle. To me, that's losing the plot! THe Delphian Expanse (?) looks like fun. And T'Pol greased up? Since when do guys complain about this? Or the tightness of outfits of Seven Of Nine or T'Pol? But I must admit. The resemblance between George W. and Tucker is funny. Thanks for spoiling my latest crush, LoL

Sadly I have to agree with this. It's not a patch on DS9 or Voyager, but it is getting better. There have been a few half-way decent story lines in the new series. And let's not forget that the first series of DS9 and Voyager were sort of shit too.

Not me anyway. More grease and less clothing, please.

I must admit that I liked the promise of DS9. I was very psyched about the "magic" angle, but then it turned all about Jem Hadar etc.
Which I liked. But I hated it when the shipped Worf there, my least fave ST character EVER. And then he married that hot butch woman, what's her name? Jadsia? Forgive my spelling of names, I am not such a nred I actually talk or write Klingon.

Ah well, it was a bit of shot in the dark. How about the good doctor then ? ...or without makeup : And it would appear that Phlox is the correct spelling for the doctor (I wasn't too sure earlier). And for the rest of us who still require our regular T'Pol fix : Yum! Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.
