1.If your motherboard has jumpers on it for your video card they could set to wrong voltage
2.Your motherboard sounds to me that its not reading your memory.Theres a couple of things you can do here also.
3.Last,something went wrong during your bios flash and if thats the case mb is a dead duck.

the keep data/save data pins the instructions stated if no video to do that so i did..

the keep data/save data pins the instructions stated if no video to do that so i did..


Am I right in thinking that you just reset the bios?
Flashing is updating it eg via a floppy disk - difficult to do with no video!

When I built my computer, it wouldn't work. I took it apart, put it back together - I swear the same way - and it worked fine.

shes using ddr memory. that means it probably takes pc3400 or something.Shes going to have to buy a stick.Her board wont read the memory if its not done correctly.But if the bios flash was started when she was in her o/s or for some reason got stopped in the middle of flashing needs another.

I agree... hard to flash the BIOS with no video in the first place.

Can you try all the componants in other PCs? That way you can narrow it down to a motherboard issue.
