I was shocked (as were the judges). It cannot be, it cannot be. Those 3 should not have been in the bottom 3 - what is wrong???

i guess them southerners just cant handle all them colored folks up on that there screen...

They were my pick for the final 3. I did think, though, that since they had similar styles, they could suffer from splitting of votes from people who like their style. I never expected all 3 to be in the bottom 3. Clearly there shouldn't be any guys left - neither of them are any good at all.

Fantasia and Latoya are not only clearly the two best singers of the competition this year, they are the two best that have ever been on the show. It's like having a pair of professionals out there with amateurs. If one of them doesn't win, it'll be like last year (where the wrong person won) and they'll outsell whoever does win. Nobody else is even close to as good as they are - and they know it too from the looks on their faces.

One question though - if you don't like the voting results - did you vote?

I never got Ruben - he's never seemed more than an average singer to me. George Huff this year isn't even that good. Clay is the only guy who's been on the show who could flat out sing - but even he can't touch Fantasia and Latoya this year.

I thought Jennifer was getting to the level of the other two and thought for sure the 3 of them would be the final 3 unless they ran into problems because of splitting votes since they were similar styles. Just like last year when Tamyra Gray was voted out and Nikki McKibbon stayed. American's have fucked up wacked out taste in what talent is.

It was the talk of the a.m. on my radio station. They figured maybe next time would it be possible for people to vote the lousy singers off rather vote because they favour someone. They note that it seems people are voting for who they like NOT the singing. This show is becoming a farce. May be the judges won't renew their contracts.....

I think what it really boils down to is that we became really laxed in thinking that it was no-brainer that the divas were going to be in the top three, so we didn't bother voting. However, it threw everyone for a loop when they annouced that they were in the bottom three. In a sense, I kinda blame myself for not voting all the while knowing that the masses would probably put the wackest singers in the top.

George Huff has one of the best voices I've ever heard -- male, female, black or whatever. And, to think that Simon Cowell acted as if he wasn't so hot, the first time he sang on the show, let me know what the deal is. Especially after watching him tell a blonde with a decent voice that she was in -- after she sang a few bars of an old standard.

Well, I think that nowadays its TRULY not about talent. I was reading peoples responses about the Diva's live show. More people commented on how old Debbie/Gladys looked rather than the fact that they both are STILL just as talented as ever.

My 13 year old was sooooo impressed with Cyndi, Patti and Gladys. She kept saying...man, the sing like they are just talking....no effort.


the fact that britney is still considered a "talent" tells me the Red headed kid is gonna win.
