On-line DVD rental clubs Has anyone, especially UK orgers, tried any of those on-line DVD rental thingies?
What happens is, you pay like £15 a month, and they post you out 3 DVDs. You keep them as long as you like, and when you're finished you post one back, and they send you another one. You can rent as many as you like, and at any one time you've got 3 DVDs to watch. I'm thinking of joining mailboxmovies.com ('cos they do NGC and XBox games too), but there are loads of others - QFlicks, Screenselect, loads more. Has anyone tried them?? Got any experiences to share?? Cheers!

I haven't joined one of these clubs, though i've thought about it.
I have used blockbuster online though. Which doesn't involve a retainer (in fact it is pretty much like the high street store, except you get marginally longer to watch the film). But they have been very prompt and very efficient. Sorry i can't help you with these clubs.

Well, I'm all signed-up.
I've had great fun putting a list of like 50 films together. It's great, 'cos there are loads of films I'd happily watch, but not pay for - now I've paid up front, I might as well see them. It also means no more arguments - the missus can watch anything she wants (eg rom-coms), and I can watch my stuff (like horror films!). If it all works OK, it should be great. If anyone else wants to join, let me know, 'cos I get a fiver for any referals!!!
