Wanna Know what I like about Kids?

That they're not racist, they accept people in a loving way regardless of who they are, they don't know what hatred is, they don't know the difference between what's wrong and what's right which brings them innocence. They tend 2 see things closer to the truth, we older folks can't see, cuz their minds haven't been filled with anybody's ideology yet or they way things suppose to be. U know sometimes I just wish we all had could see the way a child could see things. Then we would know how to have fun without getting offended and laugh at things without really having a maturity. Kids are cool until they get about 6 through 8, cuz by then they have already had a mad impression of the world and begin to imitating their environment. That's what i like about kids and they're really beautiful in that way.

Co-sign.

True. Even though kids can say pretty upfront stuff. I did.

Remember, I am a Portugese looking guy from Holland, that grew up in an all-white town.

WHen I was four, my parents took me to Amsterdam for the first time. We went on a canal cruise and in front of us was a family from Suriname. They had a boy my age and I could not take my eyes off him. It was so strange to see.

I told him he should wash better next time. LoL. His parents were totally okay. They understood it was ignorance, not racism. The mum lifted me on her knee and showed me. She let me try to rub it off. She was a kewl lady.

I volunteer sumtimes at a children's hospital.

Some time ago there was this kid who lost his leg due to cancer.

A girl of five saw that and was jealous!

Why? Cuz now he got to ride around in wheelchairs and she thought that was something great. It was the first time this boy laughed since entering chemo.

I love kids.

My nephew of six, the kid of my sister, for me was the person who made the death of my mother bearable.

When we went to the wake, the first thing he did was stick his head in the coffin.

"Pretty dark", he said. "I bet she can use a light."

Or when we carried her coffin to the car and rolled it in, he made a connection to the rollers in the car and the rolocoaster he was in some weeks before.

He said; 'O great! Gramps goes on the rollercoaster!"

That little man made the loss so simple and honest.
