Of course. Please. The internet is a fairly detached way of meeting people, but there are many ways of connecting. Falling in love with a person without a face happens to people often, but not many keep being in love after having met. Or seen a pic. A real pic.

My first month spent on internet had me connecting with a guy in a chatroom. We clicked and had fun, flirting alot. He then sent me a pic that turned out to be not his. THat kinda turned me off. Not that he was not this handsome guy, but that he had lied. He called it an experiment. I thought it was lame. He's still funny, though.

And I admit. I still have the ability to fall in love without having seen pics. In love with PERSONALITIES. Look at CLoudbuster. And Christopher. Haven't seen pics of either of them, love them to bits still.

Uhm. If you are hot for someone, of course you give them a different kind of reply than you would if it's just yer mate.

I am here to have fun. There are lots of peeps I tease and get teased by. I love that. Sometimes you meet peeps here that go beyond that and become actual friends. Even though I am not in constant contact with these people, I consider them friends.

And girls get the same treatment as guys, except I do not flirt with them. I admit; I like flirting alot. SO I tend to be drawn to unwilling straight guys from the UK. Ayedunno why.

That aspect of my thread deals with Orgers treating men and women differently, but NOT necessarily in a sexual or flirtatious way. For example, there was a female here who became angry at something I said to one of her friends, and she went after ME on a thread and in orgnotes, even though there was a male who said almost the exact same thing to her. In response to him, she was quite passive and almost apologetic. In another situation, I experienced a male Orger in the P&R section being much more rude to males who disagreed with him than to me, for example. So what I'm saying here is that I wonder if sometimes we're conditioned to try to please a certain gender, and to feel more comfortable being aggressive with another, and to watch yourself here at the Org to see if you do this.

I'm fascinated with human behavior, obviously!

But to answer your larger question, I don't know whether I treat ugly people worse than beautiful ones. I make a sincere effort not to.

When I think of the orgers I have really connected with, the orgers I dig the most, the folks I'd like to have over for dinner, I think of the orgers with what I deem as, the best personalities. In fact EVERY orger I have let into my heart or my life on a deeper than "org" level, I had formed opinions of and "relationships" with before I knew what they looked like.

Take Althom as an example, everyone likes him, he has a beautiful warm soul that "shines through the computer screen" does anyone think differently of him since he started posting his picture? I always liked Althom but does the fact that he's a nice looking man make me like him more? No. I feel the same way about him that I always did, it's just nice that I can now put a face ( and a voice ) with the personality I have come to know in the forums over the last two years.

Now that said, I think there is a double standard when it comes to how orgers who post their pictures versus those who do not post their pictures, are treated. I do NOT consider myself to be anything other than ordinary looking, but I have noticed that after I put a new photo in my profile or in a thread I do get more orgnotes and attention in general from both male and female orgers.

Now is this because people can relate to me better because they have seen my face, or because of some other reason? I'm not sure why this happens but I know it has something to do with posting my picture.


As for treating men differently than women, I will admit that I do pay more attention to the men on this site. I also pay more attention to men in the "real world." Why do I do this? The answer is simple, I get along better with men. I understand them more than I do women. I have had very few female friends in my life for this same reason. Does that mean that I do not like the women here? Hell NO! I think there are tons of great women on this site. Many that I'd like to get to know better, but I always find it easier to approach a male than I do a female. I wonder why that is?
