Where should the computer be?

big grin

Where is your computer located and why?

FREEDOM... sing it!

I just moved my computer into my spare room... although now, I am moving it back into my room. My reason for moving it was... to focus more on school etc., take it out of my visual presence and set up my second room as a study area.

Wise or not? giggle

I want to start burning CD's (which is a favorite past time for me, has been all my life), plus... I want to be able to listen to all the music that is in my Music Library... as well. music

I will kept the second room as the "study area"... althouth the music stays with me.

Plus... if someone wants to "knock, knock" or BUZZ me... I won't be far away. batting eyes wink

So... off I am to detach all the fareekin wires and computer components... I am nuts, I love to clean and rearrange. heart

In my living room. I wanted it upstairs in my bedroom but the cable guy said not possible as my apartment is old and he would have to have cable running all the way upstairs.... nix on that idea.

Oh yeah, the t.v. is in my living room too.

I run my own cables... do you have a drill. hrmph It was so funny the other day... I use a splitter for connecting my cable TV through my internet cable connection. Wait, there is a lawyer around here...

anyways... if I connect too many televisions to this splitter, it uses a lot of the internet power and I loose the connection. Well... I had rigged it and had three televisions running off this splitter. Nonetheless, I lost the internet connection. I tried everything... I just couldn't figure it out... so called the internet service to check it out. They service everything digital now adays... although they couldn't figure it out. (so they say) So, they sent (scheduled) a cable service guy out... eek, you should of seen me disconnecting all the damn wires to hide evidence... plus one TV nod, I am nuts.

~Breaking the law... if you need any help, let me know.

My (crappy-and-old-despite-my-husband-working-for-Apple) computer is with the television in what used to to be the bedroom. Our bed is now in the dining room. The dining table is being used for the computer in the bedroom and the old computer desk is being used for a dining table in the living room (which I believe is what the Ikea gods wanted it to be in the first place). Thank goodness the couch is still in the living room or my head would explode. whofarted

I'm good at thinking outside the box. mr.green

Thanks, yeah I have a drill. My computer cable connection and tv cable are spliced together (whatever the cable guy did). I am afraid to do it myself.... I leave it up to people who know what they are doing.

Woman rock!

I have 3 computers in the house all networked.. 2 of which I built myself. Presently I am sitting on my bed on my laptop.

There are 4 televisions in this house all are on cable through a spliter which runs upstairs. Only one really is used frequently in the guest bedroom where a sports freak resides.

woot! To woman with skills!
